1. Meeting called to order at 9:37 a.m.

2. Motion to approve the minutes from the
November 8, 2011 LPE PTO, Inc. Board Meeting.
Motion made by Kim Yancey. Motion
seconded by Tracie Garvens. Motion
passed.
3. Faculty Reps: Amy Shoemake- Thank you
for Shop the Market. We know that was a
lot of work and it was all wonderful! We
appreciate your patience with Track and Field Day. We will have it! We are looking forward to the Hot Chocolate
Trolley.
4. Finance Report: Mary Pakarinen – P&L
cash balance as of November 30, 2011 is $74,311.70. The Total Income is $73,946.32, with a Total
Income Budget of $81,395 for the year.
This is pretty incredible, even though we plan to have most of our income
in the beginning of the year! Carnival
was very successful and way ahead of budget. School Store did very well at Carnival. Expenses include- School Spirit purchase of
t-shirts and we paid for some Field Trips. Total Expenses so far are $39,
657.42 out of an Expense Budget of $81,350.
Motion to accept the P&L - July 1,
2010 through November 30, 2011 as presented.

New
Funding Requests:10th Anniversary Pavers
and Talent Show-
Funding Request #43- 10th
Anniversary Pavers for 250 pavers at $25 each for a total of $6,250.
Motion to approve Funding Request #43.
Motion made by Maria Stewart.
Motion seconded by Mary Pakarinen.
Motion passed.
This
funding request will need to be approved by the General PTO Membership because
it is more than $500. Tiffany Todd will
send the General Membership a virtual vote for Funding Request #43.
An
original funding request of $2000 for the Talent Show was approved in the
spring. Talent Show needs to ask for an
additional $800 for additional costs. Funding Request #44- Talent Show- An additional $800 for a total
expense of $2,800.

The
General PTO Membership also needs to approve this funding request since it is
for more than $500. Tiffany Todd will
send out a virtual funding request to the General Membership.
5. Denim & Diamonds Update: Amy
Dolce- We need to approve the contract for Bull Riding at Denim &
Diamonds. The owner of Portable
Adrenaline will operate the bull. They
have an umbrella insurance policy and we will be listed as “additional insured” so we will not
require a waiver.

Bull Riding at Denim & Diamonds as presented.

Denim
& Diamonds Ticket Pre-sale ends on Friday, Dec. 9th. We will sell tickets before the Music
Performance on Thursday. We are looking
at having the pre-sale raffle drawing during assembly on Friday, Dec. 16th.
6. Fundraising: Maria Stewart and Deborah
West- We will announce that Ms. Kordes class brought in the most Box Tops
during assembly. We are half way through
the Point of Origin event. Remember, you
need to take your “$10 off” flyer with you to Point of Origin. We met with Renee Nelms, our Pavers
Chairperson, and she is working on a flyer to send out in the Tuesday folders
in January. Also, the Learning Express
Spirit Day brought in $160.
7. Membership: Tracy Lindsey- Thank You’s were delivered to our Sponsors.
8. Volunteers: Shaeli Walton- Track and
Field Day was great. We will reschedule
Track and Field for K-2.
9. Programs: Kim Yancey- Career Day is on
Monday. There will be a lot of cool
things at Career Day this year. Mandi Humann
will be the Talent Show Chairperson next year.
She will train with Kerrie Schneider this year. Applications for Talent Show go out in
Tuesday Folders today. We will provide a
piano for Talent Show.
10. Grade Level Rep: Holiday Parties will
be on Friday, December 16th.
11. Staff Appreciation: Laura Novy- Our
next event is the “Hot Chocolate Trolley” on Friday.

Principal:
Heidi Gudelman- Thank you for everything you have done for the semester. Everything is on track at school. Sorry about having to reschedule Track and
Field. The district will decide on a
possible half day on December 16th.
The Music Performance is this Thursday.
The Geography Bee is next Thursday.
We are looking forward to the Hot Chocolate Trolley. We had a reception for Dr. Lancaster. January 9th, we will have a STAAR
Presentation to answer questions about the STAAR test.
