General Meeting Minutes

8/27/09

Meeting called to order at 8:01 a.m.

Co- President – Lynn Ballard - Introductions of Board Members

Motion to approve the May 28, 2009 minutes.  Motion seconded.  Motion approved.

New Sponsors were acknowledged and parents are urged to frequent and thank these businesses.

Treasurer – Babita Deitrich – Babita explained the Budget amendment.  There was a motion to approve the revised budget.  Motion seconded and motion was approved.  The P & L was reviewed.  Motion was made to approve the P & L.  Motion seconded and approved.

Funding Requests- Babita Deitrich

•     Annual Liability Insurance                        $  451.00

•     Spanish Program                                       $ 2295.00

Motion was made to approve both funding requests.  Motion was seconded and both funding requests were approved. 

Principal – Heidi Gudelman- Welcomed new parents to the school Introduced the new librarian, Caitlin Hooker.  Emphasized the Spanish Program needs the help of volunteers, as well as Outdoor Classroom and Student Mentoring. 

Explanation of the volunteer confidentiality form,  emergency contact form, and criminal record form.
