the LPE PTO Bylaws(4/15/08)
The bylaws have been
reviewed and the
proposed amendments may
be viewed
online
To summarize the
proposed amendments,
they would be best
categorized as minor
editing:
-
There were a couple
strikeouts,
underlines, stray
marks that were
missed two years ago
and need to be
deleted from our
official version
-
The “Board” and
“Executive Board”
are used
interchangeably; for
consistency we are
proposing “Executive
Board” throughout
the document.
-
Under Article VII,
Section 4.
Treasurer, we
incorrectly referred
to Article VIII
twice when it should
have been Article IX.
-
Under Article VIII,
Section 3. Past
President, we are
proposing deleting
the first sentence
under Item a. “The
past president is an
ex officio member of
the Executive Board
as a non-voting
member”
-
Under Article XII:
Fiscal Year:
Proposed Fiscal Year
end of June 30
versus current of
March 31.
