First, WELCOME to Lake Pointe Elementary. We know that your
journey ahead will be wonderful! We will be holding several
Summer Play Days in August for ALL incoming Kinder students!
Please send your email address to Amy Lippa at
aplippa@yahoo.com and spread the word to others! Look
for more information in the near future! Thank you, Amy
Lippa.
2,
4, 6, 8...WHO DO WE APPRECIATE?
THE STAFF APPRECIATION COMMITTEE, OF COURSE!
Thanks to everyone who was a part of the SAC this year. The
teachers and staff have truly enjoyed everything you did for
them and we couldn't have spoiled them without YOU! The SAC
hopes to have your continued support next year, so be on the
lookout for an e-mail at the end of July as we prepare for
the "Back to School Breakfast" on Monday, August 17th.

HAVE YOU HEARD? WE'VE GOT THE BEST VOLUNTEERS!
Thanks so much to all of the volunteers this school year!
Together, we logged a total of 20,000 hours for
2009-2010! In the final month of the school year, Lake
Pointe PTO volunteers logged 2,900 hours! The new BEST
Club members for May are: Suzanne Amberg, Page
Ballard, Felicia Biles, Philip Biles, Carolyn Horn, Mark
Lynn, Angi Milne, Adele Peterman, Naomi Raad, Trish Scheffe,
Vickie Smith, Amy Springer, Amy Still, and Libby Tighe.
Remember to keep track of the hours you work volunteering
for Lake Pointe this summer!
THE PTO PLANNER IS SEEKING SPONSORSHIPS
Sponsorship opportunities now available in the new and
improved PTO planner! Advertise your business and help
support our school! If interested or have questions

karlaent@yahoo.com.

I THINK THAT I SHALL NEVER SEE,
ANYTHING AS THIRSTY AS AN LPE TREE
Summer's here and that means our trees need regular water to
survive the heat. Due to the ongoing drought, they
will need to be watered once a week. If your family or
organization (boy scouts/girl scouts) would like to
volunteer for this very important task, please email Lynn
Ballard at
clballard@austin.rr.com. Our trees thank you!
BEFORE
YOU HEAD OFF TO THE POOL, BE SURE TO SAVE THESE DATES FOR
2009/2010:
Look for the PTO newsflash over the summer or go to our PTO website
www.lakepointepto.org for more information.
